Ilana Kahn
Ilana Kahn has extensive experience in all aspects of general corporate and securities law, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, public offerings, private placements of debt and equity securities, and Exchange Act filings and compliance. She also advises clients with respect to corporate formation and structure, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. In addition, she has represented borrowers and lenders with respect to secured and unsecured credit facilities and landlords and tenants in commercial and residential leasing. Ms. Kahn has worked extensively representing large, medium, and small private and publicly-held corporations, underwriters, and venture capital firms.
Before founding Bogal & Kahn LLP, Ms. Kahn was a senior associate in the corporate department of Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP, where she was involved in the following transactions:
• Acquisition of Innerdyne, Inc. by Tyco International Ltd.
• Acquisition of Scott Technologies, Inc. by Tyco International Ltd.
• Public offering of 2,300,000 ordinary shares by Aladdin Knowledge Systems Ltd.
• $1 billion debt restructuring by Vishay Intertechnology Inc.
Ms. Kahn received her J.D. from Fordham University, School of Law, where she was on Dean’s List, was a Notes and Articles Editor on the Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment Law Journal and was President of the Student Bar Association. Ms. Kahn received an M.A. from Columbia University in English and Comparative Literature and her B.A., cum laude, in English literature from the University of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Kahn is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey.
